Been a while…gearing up for another trip!

Just a couple of weeks to go before I head off to Germany for a little over two weeks, for the fist time since the early to mid 1980s. To be specific, since November of 1983! I think Germany has changed a little since then, and certainly, so have I. I am starting to get excited about the trip, and all of the plans that I am still working on and the details that come with the planning.

I am a little nervous about the political landscape here and abroad, but I am not letting that sway me from my goal of revisiting old places and new places alike. I am hopeful I will be able to hook up with a couple of my German Studies class-mates who are living and studying abroad there, and one of my favorite Instructors too.

Look forward to the trip! Lisa would be happy to know that I was making it a reality, she so wanted me to go while she was alive, but that wasn’t possible. So, I am doing it now, with her always in my heart! All my love to you Lisa!
